‘By helping to pioneer a style that has now become the dominant global club sound with the Y3K & Bedrock Breaks compilations at the tern of the millennium plus his own double mix comp Wired & Rewired a few years and the addition of his own boutique club label Kilowatt (now some 30+ releases) Hyper has secured himself a place amongst the top musical players.

His confidence is transparent in everything he does and his most recent triumph is the release of his debut album WE CONTROL and the formation of his own band which has rocked just about every festival going!
Punk, rock, electronica it all fits!’

The debut artist album ‘We Control’ released in spring 2006 achieved major taste maker support from the likes of Pete Tong (‘Very Fresh’) Annie Nightingale, Annie Mac and Fergie plus the sagely Steve Lamacq and XFM’s Eddie Temple Morris.   Even the world of big business have taken to Hypers sound most notably the use of We Control on the Peugeot 207 car campaign, the Borat movie trailer and films scores for Fox. Tracks have also found their way into countless US (and UK) TV shows and video games.

The process of recording ‘We Control’ led to the formation of Hyper LIVE which has been a spectacular success taking on crowds from across the globe including Japan, USA, China Belarus, Russia, Roskilde Festival Denmark, Creamfields, Poland, Dour Festival Belgium, Extrema Festival Holland, The Glade Festival UK, V Festival(s) UK and many more.

Hyper’s DJ SETs have continued to be a fresh as ever.
Feeding on the energy and creativity of his LIVE performances the Hyper club sound has evolved into melting pot of punk, electro, 80s nuwave and everything in between. 2007 saw the release of the ‘Rewired’ mix to coincide with the anthem ‘No Rockstars’,  pushing his sound in a new direction!
This was followed up by the widely acclaimed bit-crushed rocky club killer ‘Computer Says No’.
A collaboration with JHz.

“There's more than a tinge of the rock and industrial to a lot of the material here, and not just because there are remixes of a few guitar bands in the listing – Nine Inch Nails and Bloc Party both get a look in. This isn't preening music for the beautiful people, this is heads-down sweat-soaked stuff for people who dance hard until the lights come up and the bouncers shove them out of the venue “
