5 minutes with Ibadet Ramadani of Super700

Tell us about the first time you were really inspired by music?
I was a little girl when I saw Elvis in a movie. He was singing with his guitar on a beach in Hawaii. Ever since I wanted to play guitar and sing.

What do you consider to be your greatest skill?
Dream to the extent of reality denial
 
Name two albums you keep very close to hand.
Lately “ The Trials of Van Occupanther” by Midlake and “Blackstar” by Mos Def & Talib Kweli 
 
The road to musical success is often long and hard. What is one lesson you have learnt along the way that changed the way you saw things?
You don’t want to reach success haggard and blinded, so you have to look alongside that road and not forget about all the things that are important to you and your close ones.

Who inspires you? (Both in life and in music)
Good deeds and bad deeds, horror movies and fear, flowers and awkward animals like the Axolotl.
In music only good music. I bumbed into Andy Williams` Moon River by coincident today and couldn`t stop listening to it again and again.

Tell us a quirky fact about yourself no one else knows!
I want to keep it that way of no one knowing!

If you could have two wishes come true what would they be?
To loose some of my quirky things and have 10 more wishes!
 
Before you step on stage for a gig, what do you do to prepare?
I polish my shoes with the aim to mirror myself.

What do your parents think of what you do? Have you ever taken them along to a gig? My parents have seen a couple of SUPER700 concerts. They think it is music from another planet.

If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
I would like to be remembered as the girl who could make you cry and laugh at the same time!

Having spent so much time on aeroplanes, are you an official member of the mile high club?
